?Tottenham picked up a narrow victory over West Ham in the Premier League and there were plenty of things learned from the result.

Spurs recorded a 3-2 win at the London Stadium and continued their impressive away form, while also ending their poor recent record against the Hammers.

The North London club were cruising after goals from Harry Kane (two) and Christian Eriksen, but Javier Hernandez managed to pull one back for the hosts.

The match then turned in the 70th minute when Serge Aurier was shown a second yellow card after a foul on Andy Carroll and it put the visitors under immense pressure.

Cheikhou Kouyate managed to score a second for West Ham to set up a nervous finish, but Spurs held out to help them rise up to third in the table.

Mauricio Pochettino resorted to his full strength side for the league clash, but was missing Mousa Dembele through injury.

This Is Futbol has selected three major talking points from Spurs’ dramatic win, including how a Pochettino favourite was guilty of being wasteful during the match.
