Thomas Christiansen has delivered a warning to Sheffield Wednesday ahead of the Yorkshire derby on Sunday, backing his team to produce a reaction to the 3-1 defeat to Cardiff in midweek.
Leeds lost the game, their position at the top of the table and Liam Cooper to two yellow cards in the brusing clash at the Cardiff City Stadium, but Christiansen was unequivocal in his response.
“I believe that the team responded in the proper way from our defeat in Millwall,” he said in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“We’re going to do the same against Sheffield Wednesday.”

Christiansen’s Leeds side have shown they’ve got skill, now they need to prove they’ve got the strength to cope with the physical nature of the Championship. Christiansen says his team is “ready for anything” – the Sheffield Wednesday game will be a good test of their credentials.
