West Ham captain Mark Noble completed 71 minutes in the defeat to Newcastle on Saturday – and the club’s supporters were extremely critical of his performance on Twitter.
The Hammers suffered a crushing 3-0 away loss at St James’ Park, which means they are still without a Premier League point going into the international break.
Slaven Bilic’s team capitulated against the recently promoted side and are sat at the bottom of the league after the opening three fixtures.
Joselu, Ciaran Clark and Aleksandar Mitrovic were on the scoresheet for the hosts as Rafael Benitez’s team picked up their first points of the season
West Ham fans were bitterly disappointed after the defeat and took out their anger on midfielder Noble.

I love Noble but he is so far off the pace it's embarrassing shouldn't be anywhere near the first team #WHUFC #coyi

Noble playing for us is so reminiscent of when Nolan was playing week in week out but wasn't up for it. Winding me up watching him #WHUFC

Feel sorry for Chicarito, he's far too good for us. Can Mark Noble pack his bags and do one yet? #WHUFC

Noble has been a mainstay in the West Ham side at the beginning of the season, but fans believe his form has dipped considerably in the past 12 months and that he has been struggling.
The 30-year-old is a product of the Hammers academy and has racked up 410 appearances for the London club.
However, he could face serious competition to keep his position in the starting line-up this season and has come under the spotlight following the Newcastle loss.
Noble is competing alongside Declan Rice, Cheikhou Kouyate, Edimilson Fernandes and Pedro Obiang for a starting XI spot.
West Ham will now be hoping to reignite their season in their next fixture when they host Huddersfield on 11 September at the London Stadium.
