Celtic player ratings v Kilmarnock

|

Goalkeeper and defenders

Craig Gordon 7 – Had little to do throughout the clash but helped retain possession by passing to his centre-backs and claimed a number of corners and deep balls into the box. Solid.

Anthony Ralston 6 – Offered little going forward did the Celtic academy graduate, but kept possession well. Could be argued that he played a tad safe.

Kristoffer Ajer 7 – Strong display from the Norwegian, looking composed at the back when in possession and dealing with veteran forward Kris Boyd well. Could be used against Astana as Rodgers took note.

Kieran Tierney 8 (Replaced by Nir Bitton, 70 mins) – One of the most consistent performers in the Hoops side, the Celtic fan favourite was solid and robust once again as the Hoops kept their second league clean sheet despite playing at centre-back.

Calvin Miller 8 – Another Celtic left-back that is likely to go on to big things. Offering solidarity and aggression in defence, the youngster impressed when going forward and made things happen.
