Leeds winners and losers from 4-1 victory v Port Vale

|

Winner – Samu Saiz

Saiz, 26, shone on his debut as he looked right at home in the white of Leeds despite making only his first appearance, after being left on the substitute’s bench against Bolton.

The former Huesca ace, who cost £3.5million to come to Yorkshire, took all three of his chances with exquisite accuracy before setting up Ekuban for Leeds’ fourth with a clever dummy.

The Spaniard will now be in direct competition with a fellow compatriot in Pablo Hernandez for the attacking role against Preston come Saturday.
