Idrissa Gueye (Centre midfield) – His burgeoning reputation is continually on the rise, after starring against Stoke in the middle of the park on Saturday. Gueye’s lung-busting efforts should see him start against Hajduk Split.

Morgan Schneiderlin (Centre midfield) – There is plenty of competition in the middle of the park at Everton, which has since seen Gareth Barry join West Brom. The Frenchman has been given the nod so far and should continue in that role over the likes of Muhamed Besic, Tom Davies and Ross Barkley.
