Attackers
Dom Calvert-Lewin (Right-wing) – Playing in a right-wing back role on Saturday, Calvert-Lewin’s stock is continuing to rise after an excellent summer. He scored against Ruzemberok and should start on the right flank.
Davy Klaassen (Attacking midfield) – Holland international Klaassen has already shown he is capable of pulling the strings in a blue shirt, and he is likely to be given the freedom of the number 10 role on Thursday.
Kevin Mirallas (Left-wing) – 29-year-old Mirallas should return to the side in place of Spaniard Sandro Ramirez with Koeman likely to revert to a 4-2-3-1 system. Proven in European competition throughout his career with 37 career appearances in the Europa League and Champions League, he should start.
Wayne Rooney (Striker) – Confidence is likely to be flowing through Rooney’s veins after his bullet header against Stoke, and that should surely see him continue in his role as Everton’s attacking spearhead.
