Dorrans is Rangers’ ninth signing of a hectic summer but one of the few with experience of Scottish football.

Superb signing, shame it didn't come a week ago. Now we desperately need to add some genuine quality in wide areas (full back & wingers)

There were a few Rangers supporters who felt that the club should have completed the deal before last week as they believed that Dorrans could have helped the team progress in the Europa League.
The Glaswegian club were dumped out of the European competition on Tuesday evening when they suffered a 2-1 aggregate defeat to Luxembourg side Progres Niederkorn.
The midfielder does not have too much experience playing in the SPL as he only made a total of nine appearances in the top flight during his spell for Livingston in the 2005-06 season.
Dorrans has enjoyed a fine career playing in England, featuring in over 200 matches in the Premier League and the Championship.
The Scotland international has notched up a total of 51 goals throughout his playing career.
