West Ham could use Snodgrass to sign Gray

West Ham could use January attacker signing Robert Snodgrass as a makeweight in deal to bring in Burnley forward Andre Gray this summer, according to ExWHUemployee.

The Hammers insider, who has proven to be a reliable source of transfer information has claimed on his personal Twitter account that the east Londoners could offer the 29-year-old Scotsman in the direction of Burnley in order to land striker Gray.

Like Gray, Snodgrass impressed in a relegation battling Premier League side with Hull, which saw him score seven goals while providing three in 20 matches for the Tigers in the first half of the last campaign before completing a £10million transfer to West Ham in January.

However, he struggled at the London Stadium and following his move he failed to find the back of the net, while setting up just two goals in 15 encounters for the Hammers.

Meanwhile, Gray managed a return of nine goals and three assists in 32 appearances in England’s top-flight last season and he finished as the Lancashire outfit’s second highest scorer behind Sam Vokes.

But, he has entered the final year of his contract at Burnley and this could see him become available this summer with clubs like West Ham, who are looking to add more firepower said to be targeting him.
