Goalkeeper Joe Hart has stayed away from Manchester City’s pre-season tour of the United States in an attempt to seek a move away from the cash-rich club, according to the Daily Mail.

The news outlet have detailed on their website that Pep Guardiola’s side value the 30-year-old at £18million and that both Newcastle and West Ham have registered an interest in signing him.

But, it is not clear whether the two sides will be willing to meet the price-tag placed on the 71-time England international with it said that the pair are looking at a loan move, while both Hart and City are only interested in a permanent departure.

Hart himself spent last season on loan in Italy with Serie A club Torino, but while it is said that he would be open to another move abroad he would prefer to remain in England.

It is also believed that he will be seeking guarantees of first team football with the Russian World Cup coming up next summer and given both Newcastle and West Ham’s weakness in the goalkeeping area both clubs could offer him that.

Hart has had a very fine career to date which has seen him win two Premier League medals and an FA Cup alongside winning the league’s golden glove on four separate occasions.

He will now be looking to have further success with whichever club he joins next.
