Everton are close to completing another striker transfer with young star Calum Dyson poised for a loan switch to League One outfit Plymouth, according to HITC Sport.

The news outlet have detailed on their website that a number of sides have made enquiries for the 20-year-old, but the south west club have moved swiftly in an attempt to agree a deal with the Toffees.

If Dyson completes a temporary move to Derek Adams’ side then it will mark the Blues’ fourth striker deal this summer with both Sandro Ramirez and Wayne Rooney joining, while former star Romelu Lukaku has left.

Dyson himself is also highly-rated in the Everton youth ranks and he spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at League Two club Grimsby, scoring four goals in 16 appearances as well as being named the club’s Young Player of the Year.

It is now thought that Everton want him to take the step-up to League One in order to continue his progression.

The youngster has also entered the final year of his contract at Ronald Koeman’s club however and he will now be keen to impress both at Plymouth and the Everton staff in order to earn a new deal if he does head out.
