Dorrans to travel to Glasgow in the next 24 hours

|

Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans is expected to travel home to Glasgow “in the next 24 hours” after Rangers agreed a deal to sign him, according to Sky Sports.

The popular sports broadcasters have claimed that the Ibrox giants have agreed a fee worth £1.3million with the English Championship club for the 30-year-old.

The two clubs have reportedly been in long negotiations throughout the summer and the 11-time capped Scotland international could now be set for a move back to his homeland with the team he supported as a boy.

Rangers themselves are currently in Luxembourg ahead of their first-round qualifier second leg against Progres Niederkorn.

But, it would certainly be a big boost to the club if they return home with Dorrans having signed.

The experienced midfielder has been plying his trade in England since leaving Livingston in 2008 for West Brom and has built up a reputation for himself south of the border having featured 142 times in the Premier League.

Last season with Norwich in the Championship he suffered an injury hit campaign, but still managed a return of six goals and one assist in 23 league matches.

Rangers fans will now be hoping for a similar return from Dorrans if he signs and he could become the club’s ninth signing of the window with two months still left.
