Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart looks set for a departure from the Etihad as Pep Guardiola doesn’t appear to have plans for the England international within his squad.

The 30-year-old keeper has recently been pictured in The Sun training with the City squad once again after returning from his loan spell in Italy.

During the training session Hart was seen performing drills alongside the world’s most expensive goalkeeper and Man City’s new addition, Ederson.

Guardiola secured the Benfica keeper for a record amount of £35 million last month, and with fellow stopper Claudio Bravo it means that Hart is surplus to the club’s requirements.

Hart is also keen on playing regular first-team football, and that seems like a distant fantasy with City next season.

The former City number one spent last season on loan at Serie A club Torino and has since returned to the Etihad to find no room for him in the first team.

Hart joined City in 2006 for £765,000 and has since made a total of 348 appearances across all competitions for the Manchester Blues.

With the keeper keen to play regular football his only option is to move on from the club.
