Manchester United have approached Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier over a potential move to Old Trafford this summer, according to France Football.

This follows up from the story in the same French publication which reported that the Manchester club were keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.

The newspaper claims that the Premier League side have been in contact with the player’s representatives over the last couple of months as they plan to make him their third summer signing following the arrivals of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.

The Ivorian is attracting interest from a number of sides across European as Manchester City, AC Milan, Barcelona and Juventus have approached the player’s representatives this summer.

The report claims that the Ligue 1 side are willing to let the full-back leave the club but they are looking to receive between £17million and £22million for Aurier.

It is reported that Italian giants Inter Milan are leading the race to land the Frenchman as the player has already shown an interest in the club but the fee and the player’s wage demands could be a potential stumbling move.

The Ivorian enduring a very frustrating campaign with the French outfit last season, only featuring in 22 Ligue 1 matches but he still managed to contribute with five assists in all competitions.

The full-back currently has two years remaining on his contract with PSG.
