Senior Guinean football man Titi Camara has claimed that Naby Keita has made up his mind to join Liverpool – and fans of the club have gone into meltdown on Twitter.
Camara, who was a cult hero at Anfield during his playing days, revealed on his personal Twitter account on Monday morning that his countryman Keita has his “heart set” on a summer transfer from RB Leipzig to the Merseyside giants.
From what I’m led to believe naby has his heart set on #lfc move. Leipzig have been informed of his intent and are looking for replacement

Camara, a former Guinea sports minister who has also managed the national side and has senior links to the Guinean Football Federation, added that Keita’s current club have been told of the player’s intentions and they are now looking for a central midfield replacement.
The Monday revelation sent Liverpool supporters into a frenzy of delight, with many of them desperate for their club to land a player who is widely reported to be one of Jurgen Klopp’s leading targets.

Widespread reports in the UK, Germany and Keita’s native Guinea have stated that Liverpool are pushing hard to sign the central midfielder and have not been put off by Leipzig’s apparent £70million valuation.
The BBC claimed on Friday that Keita has a £48million release clause that can be activated in the summer of 2018, which means the fee in this window is unlikely to be quite as high as £70million.
The midfielder is on Liverpool’s radar as they look to stiffen their central midfield with a box-to-box player with a fine scoring and creativity record.
Keita scored eight goals and supplied eight assists from 32 Leipzig matches last season and, at previous club Red Bull Salzburg, scored 20 goals and provided 11 assists from 81 appearances.
