Thomas Christiansen must take advantage of bitter rivals Huddersfield’s transfer revolution this summer by bringing Chris Lowe to Leeds.

The Terriers confirmed the permanent signing of Scott Malone from Fulham on their website, with the 26-year-old putting pen to paper on a three-year contract following Huddersfield’s promotion to the Premier League.

That could leave German left-back Lowe, 28, without a spot in Wagner’s first team, despite remaining an integral part of the Huddersfield side that beat Reading on penalties in the play-off final at Wembley.

Leeds have already made four signings, in goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen and ex-FC Twente playmaker Mateusz Klich, while Hadi Sacko has signed permanently and Madger Gomes joins the Under-23 side.

This Is FutbolĀ believes Lowe holds the key to Leeds ending their 13-year stay in the Football League, with Charlie Taylor reportedly set to sign with Premier League outfit Burnley.
