West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli is close to securing a move to Galatasaray which will see him earn £50,000-a-week (€3million-per-year), according to NTV Spor

The Turkish television broadcaster report on their website that the Algerian international is in talks with the management at Galatasaray and is expected to sign for the club if negotiations proceed positively, although rivals Fenerbahce are also said to be interested in his signature.

Feghouli only joined the Hammers a year ago on a free transfer from Spanish side Valencia but has failed to have delivered the impact fans would have hoped for, with just four goals and three assists in his 28 appearances across all competitions.

However, his form in the second half of the season did improve, with three of the four strikes coming after the turn of the year, and he rounded the season off in style with a well taken finish against Burnley in his side’s 2-1 win on the last day of the campaign.

The 44-time-capped Algerian winger, who can operate on either flank, is one of a number of first team players who the Mirror claim boss Slaven Bilic is willing to let go this summer, alongside Scottish winger Robert Snodgrass and the already departed Enner Valencia.

His current deal with the Hammers is set to expire in the summer of 2019.
