The central defender has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Goodison Park.
Keane became the second new recruit at the club on Monday after striker Sandro completed his move from Spanish outfit Malaga earlier on in the day.
The Toffees have now signed six new players this summer – with Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Ramirez, Henry Onyekuru and Nathangelo Markelo also arriving- and they have brought in a player for each position on the football pitch.
Everton supporters were quick to react to the new arrival on social media and they expressed their disbelief and excitement at the amount of players that have joined the club this summer.

Keane enjoyed an impressive campaign with Burnley last season, featuring in 39 appearances in all competitions and contributing with two goals.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman will be hopeful that the defender can make a significant impact on Merseyside next season and potentially guide the side into the top four for the first time since 2005.
