Everton fans have taken to Twitter to urge their club to sign Arsenal ace Olivier Giroud.
Their messages came after the Sun reported that the Toffees were ready to make a £20million bid for the 30-year-old striker.
It was said that the Merseysiders would face stiff opposition from Premier League rivals West Ham and French outfit Marseille in the race for Giroud’s signature.
The newspaper claims that Everton manager Ronald Koeman is confident he can persuade the Frenchman to make a summer switch, and that the player is concerned he will not be a first team regular at Arsenal next season.
The 30-year-old enjoyed a decent 2016-17 campaign, as he scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
He has been prolific since he arrived at the Emirates in 2012 from Montpellier for £10million, as in 227 league and cup games for the club, he has netted 98 goals and supplied 41 assists.
The Goodison Park faithful were excited by the speculation which linked their club to Giroud and they took to Twitter to show it.

Being linked with everyone. But Giroud would be class. The type of player we could do with. Sandro, Giroud plus another! #COYB #EFC

I know it's originally from the S*% but I'd have Giroud all day long! He's a Koeman type of CF that he likes leading the line… @Everton

Koeman has already brought in three new faces this summer in the shapes of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Henry Onyekuru as he looks to strengthen his squad.
Pickford and Klaassen are expected to go straight into the Toffee’s first team, but Onyekuru has been farmed out on loan to Anderlecht.
