£12m flop should be thrown on scrapheap
Former Leeds attacker Ross McCormack is likely to be offloaded by Bruce this summer after being signed from Fulham by former manager Roberto Di Matteo in a princely £12million transfer.
However, Scotland international McCormack managed just three goals in 22 league and cup appearances for the Midlands giants before plummeting down the pecking order and joining Nottingham Forest on loan in January.
Now back with Villa, McCormack should be offloaded this summer of Villa can receive half of their outlay, making room for Bruce to bring in Loftus-Cheek from Stamford Bridge.
