Chelsea are looking to secure at least £5million for the services of midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah this summer, according to the Sun.

The newspaper claim on their website that the 22-year-old will join the Stamford Bridge exodus in search of first team football, and the Blues are set to accept a cut price deal to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.

Premier League sides Watford and Swansea are both said to have registered interest, but the Sun suggest that more top flight sides could join the hunt after being made aware of the low asking price.

A graduate of the Chelsea academy, Chalobah was on the fringes of the first team last season, making 15 appearances across all competitions.

However, the versatile midfielder, who can sit back or push up in the centre of the park, made just five starts, and with Chelsea looking to secure the signing of fellow enforcer Tiemoue Bakayoko, his first team chances look set to be limited further.

As well as first team experience with his club, he has also established himself as a key member of the England youth squads, having appeared at every level up until the senior side.

With 40 caps for the England Under-21 side, he falls just short of the record for Under-21 appearances, Liverpool utility man James Milner holding that honour with 46.
