Sky Sports claim Aston Villa are one of five teams said to be interested in the 32-year-old goalkeeper this summer, along with Premier League sides Leicester, Crystal Palace and Watford as well as relegated Sunderland.
With 12 months remaining on his current contract, Bruce should act on that reported interest and sign the Swiss star to replace Sam Johnstone who has returned to Manchester United following his loan spell.
