Chelsea must ensure that Jeremie Boga does not become the latest youngster to leave Stamford Bridge on loan this summer.

The Blues have become renowned for sending out young talents to gain first-team experience and must not allow the 20-year-old attacking midfielder to leave.

The likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Crystal Palace), Tammy Abraham (Swansea) and Kasey Palmer (Huddersfield) are just some of the talents to leave on loan already in the summer window.

Boga is a part of the Chelsea squad in the pre-season and played in a 3-0 friendly victory over Arsenal.

The winger made a great impression as a substitute for the Londoners and has been named in the starting line-up to play in another friendly match against Bayern Munich.

Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard has claimed he was impressed with Boga’s performance against Arsenal and is pleased to see him getting minutes for Antonio Conte’s side.

“This guy Jeremie Boga, he played very well in this game [against Arsenal]. It is good to see him on the pitch,” Hazard said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

Chelsea need to try give some of their rising stars more first team opportunities and the likes of Boga and Andreas Christensen should be allowed to remain for the upcoming season.

Conte is going to have to rotate his squad due to involvement in both domestic and European competitions, meaning there should be more opportunities for players.

Boga has benefited from the loan system with spells at Rennes and Granada, but is now ready to make a big impression in the senior set-up at Chelsea.

The direct attacker has a great turn of pace and has a number of skills in his locker that could potentially terrorise defenders in England.

He would give the reigning Premier League champions an added dimension and it’s about time the Blues started reaping the rewards of all their loan deals.
