Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed defender Roderick Miranda as their first summer signing, and fans on Twitter fully approve.
The Championship club announced on their official Twitter account on Tuesday evening that they had completed the signing of the 26-year-old from Portuguese outfit Rio Ave.

Miranda, who began his career at Benfica, has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal at Molineux, and becomes Nuno Espirito Santo’s first new addition to the club following his appointment as manager a fortnight ago.
Santo had previously worked alongside Miranda at Rio Ave, and has successfully moved to be re-united with his trusted former star, and Wolves fans believe he will prove a worthy addition to the ranks.

Miranda brings valuable experience to Molineux ahead of their following a disappointing season for the club in the Championship last season, where they finished 15th.
He has featured regularly for Portugal at youth level, but he has yet to make the jump up to the senior setup, earning his last appearance for the Under-20 side back in 2011.
He also made 94 appearances in all competitions during his time at Rio Ave, scoring four goals and supplying two assists.
Miranda is not likely to be the sole new arrival at Molineux this summer, with Wolves all but certain to continue their hunt for fresh talent ahead of the new season.
