Wolves fans are torn on Twitter as to whether Preston North End’s Jordan Hugill would be a good signing or not.
Their messages came after the Express and Star reported that their club was interested in the 25-year-old striker.
It was said Paul Lambert was eyeing a move for Hugill during his tenure at Molineux, and the player is still keen on a move to the Black Country.
However, the report also stated that new manager Nuno Espirito Santo has other transfer targets in mind, but the Preston front man was still an option if they fell through.
Hugill bagged himself 12 goals in 47 league and cup games for North End last term, as he led the forward line for much of the season.
He signed for Preston in the summer of 2014 from Port Vale for an undisclosed fee, and he has since made 85 appearances across all competitions, which have yielded 20 goals and four assists.
The Molineux faithful were split on whether Hugill would be a good addition to Santo’s squad or not.

I really wouldn't mind us signing Hugill. He seems like the ideal striker for this level that will get goals with the right service #wwfc

Express & Stir reporting we are going in for Hugill so it doesn't seem complete bull. I'm still down for him joining decent player.

#wwfc Hugill might not be the answer but we do need a big physical presence up front to bully and make space for a flair players

Wolves finished 15th in last season’s Championship, a disappointing campaign for a club of its stature.
Santo will be looking to bolster all areas of his squad this summer, as he hopes to turn his side into one which will challenge for promotion.
