Manager Mark Warburton is looking to strengthen the goalkeeping department in his first summer at the club and this has seen Adam Bogdan fall onto the radar, according to the Nottingham Post.

The local news outlet has detailed that the Midlands giants have made an enquiry to see whether Liverpool would be willing to allow the 29-year-old leave on loan or permanently.

The experienced Hungary international has struggled to make an impact on Merseyside after signing from Bolton in the summer of 2015 on a free transfer.

He has so far played just six times for the club in two years, conceding eight goals while keeping one clean sheet.

Bogdan was also sent out on loan for the last campaign to Championship side Wigan, but after 17 appearances where he conceded just 19 alongside keeping six clean sheets he suffered a anterior cruciate ligament injury ruling him out for the season.

He has since recovered from the injury, but with Simon Mignolet, Loris Karius and Danny Ward also at Liverpool he will struggle to find first team opportunities at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Forest have Stephen Henderson, Vladimir Stojkovic, Dimitar Evtimov and Jordan Smith in their goalkeeping ranks.
