Everton have already secured Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen this summer, but Malaga are preventing them from having already signed Sandro Ramirez, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The local news outlet have detailed on their website that terms have already been agreed with the 21-year-old, while a medical has also been passed.

However, current club Malaga are the final obstacle with the report stating that the La Liga side will not sign the forms which will allow him to leave until his current contract has expired due to frustration over his low £5.2million release clause.

Everton will not however have much longer to wait with the Liverpool Echo claiming that Ramirez’ contract ends on July 3, which is when Malaga will become powerless to delay the transfer further.

Ramirez himself is currently occupied with international football as he prepares for a European Under-21 final clash against Germany on Friday in Poland.

He has so far bagged just one goal in the tournament, but at club level he boasted a fine scoring return of 16 goals in 31 matches in all competitions.

The young forward has only been a part of the Malaga team for one-year after joining from Euro giants Barcelona at the end of his contract and it is believed that Everton have not inserted a release clause in their contract offer.
