Aston Villa should make an eleventh-hour bid to sign goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu after his contract was reportedly terminated by Paris Saint-Germain.
French newspaper Le Parisien claim the 30-year-old has agreed to be released from his PSG contract despite having 12 months remaining on his current deal with the French giants.
The 17-time Italy international’s representatives have wasted no time in finding Sirigu a new club, with a medical believed to be booked for Sirigu to join Serie A outfit Torino, replacing Joe Hart who returns to Man City.
However, Aston Villa should look to make a late move to sign Sirigu and bring him to the Midlands in order to bolster their promotion campaign next season as Steve Bruce looks to secure a fifth career promotion to the Premier League.
