OPINION

Pedro Caixinha must make room for new Rangers signing Alfredo Morelos by offloading three of his attackers as he continues his transfer revolution at Ibrox.

Rangers announced on their official website that the former HJK Helsinki striker had signed a three-year contract in Glasgow, after firing 17 goals in 19 games this season.

Former Santos Laguna and Al-Gharafa manager Caixinha has already confirmed deals for Bruno Alves, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Ryan Jack and Fabio Cardoso, and now Morelos joins as Caixinha’s sixth new recruit.

However, Caixinha must now make room for Morelos in the final third, with the Portuguese boss having an abundance of options in attack following the signings of wingers Candeias and Dalcio.
