Celtic and Rangers are in the running to sign Valencia winger Nani, according to the latest betting odds.

Leading bookmaker Bet Victor have priced the 30-year-old La Liga player at 6/1 to make a switch to either Glasgow club before September 3.

Ligue 1 champions Monaco are currently the favourites for Nani’s signature with the French side priced at 4/1 to sign the former Manchester United player this summer.

Nani moved to the Mestalla Stadium last summer from Turkish side Fenerbache, with his Spanish side struggling to perform in La Liga during the recently concluded campaign.

He is well known to British audiences for his time at United, where he was a bona fide star and made nearly 200 appearances.

Valencia flirted with relegation for a brief period before they had to settle for a disappointing 12th place finish in Spain’s top flight.

Over the course of the season, Nani played 23 league matches for his team where he supplied three assists and found the back of the net on five occasions.

Brendan Rodgers side dominated Scottish football this term, with the Bhoys winning the domestic treble and going the entire season unbeaten.

Added to that, they inflicted five defeats on their neighbours from their six encounters which made Rodgers’  season even sweeter.

On the other hand, the Gers had to settle for a third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership table, with Pedro Caixinha replacing Mark Warburton at Ibrox in March.
