Celtic’s pursuit of completing a permanent deal for Patrick Roberts this summer is set to be severely tested as 12 clubs are reportedly interested in the Man City youngster.
BBC Sport in Scotland revealed that Nice, Porto and clubs from Germany’s top tier are set to rival Brendan Rodgers’ side this summer for Roberts, as the Hoops remain keen to re-sign the 20-year-old ace.
Roberts was in sensational form for the Scottish champions last season, as they completed a fantastic treble in Rodgers first season as Bhoys boss north of the season.
Scoring 11 goals for Celtic, the England Under-20 international also laid on 19 assists during his 43 league and cup appearances and that form seems to have caught the eye of clubs all around Europe.
