Rangers are set to begin their 2017-18 campaign with a testing clash against Luxembourgh outfit Progres Niederkorn at Ibrox on Thursday evening.

The two sides are set to go head-to-head in the first-leg of their Europa League first-qualifying round tie, and manager Pedro Caixinha will have almost a full squad of players at his disposal.

The Portuguese has reportedly named a 30-man squad for the upcoming clash, including a mix of both previous Gers talent and a number of his new recruits.

Caixinha experimented with his options during their short run of pre-season friendlies, but their latest clash offers Rangers fans an opportunity to see their new signings in action for the first time in a competitive fixture.

Rangers ended the 2016-17 Scottish Premiership season with a narrow 2-1 victory over St. Johnstone, but Caixinha is expected to wipe clean the slate and pick an entirely fresh starting eleven.

That could see as many as seven senior players axed from their previous competitive line-up, including Jak Alnwick, Myles Beerman, Aidan Wilson, David Bates, Jason Holt, Jamie Barjonas and Jon Toral.

Here, This is Futbol reveals the most likely starting eleven for the home side, which sees four new recruits handed their competitive debuts in a 4-3-3.
