Wolves are interested in handing ex-Manchester United winger Bebe a second chance in English football, according to the Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old ace is said to be one of a number of targets being considered by new Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who could look to bring his fellow countryman to Molineux this summer.

The report states that Wolves would have to spend £1million in order to bring the six-time Portugal Under-21 international to the Midlands, who currently plays for top-flight Spanish La Liga side Eibar.

Bebe was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson back in August 2010 as a teenager from Portuguese top-tier side Vitoria Guimaraes for a pricey £7.4million, but made just seven first-team appearances for the Red Devils.

It saw Bebe move on loan to the likes of Besiktas, Rio Ave and Benfica before he completed a permanent move to the latter in 2014.

However, the journeyman’s career failed to ignite back in his home country and he managed just six matches for the Portuguese giants before being loaned to Cordoba and Rayo Vallecano.

Now, after a successful season with Eibar in which he had a hand in eight goals during his 26 outings for the Spanish side, Wolves could now bring the fleet-footed attacker back to England.

It remains to be seen if Eibar will be willing to allow Bebe to leave this summer, as he still has three years remaining on his current contract.

Former Porto and Valencia boss Santo is expected to delve into the Portuguese market for talent, with his inherited side currently boasting talent from his home country in Silvio, Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro.
