West Ham should watch three England Under-21 stars in semi-final v Germany

England’s Under-21 side are set to face Germany in the semi-finals of the European Championships on Tuesday evening and West Ham scouts must compile dossiers on three of Aidy Boothroyd’s men.

The Young Lions qualified for the final four after beating Poland and Slovakia as well as drawing against Sweden in their three group games, as they prepare to step foot into the knockout stages for the first time since 2009.

Slaven Bilic is set to be active in the upcoming transfer market after a dismal 2016-17 campaign that saw the Hammers finish in a lowly 12th place, five positions lower than their seventh-placed finish in 2015-16.

The east London outfit have already confirmed their first signing of the window in tough-tackling defender Pablo Zabaleta from Manchester City, who finally solves the Hammers’ right-back problem.
