West Ham have been installed as strong favourites to lure Chelsea attacker Bertrand Traore to the London Stadium, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.

French publication Foot Mercato claim Premier League duo Everton and the Hammers have made offers for the 21-year-old striker, along with Lyon, Schalke, Borussia Monchengladbach and Lille.

Ladbrokes have now priced the east London outfit at 9/4 to sign the Burkina Faso international, who is able to play anywhere across a front three.

Everton are second favourites to sign Traore following the report, but are slightly further back than Slaven Bilic’s side at odds of 7/2 to bring the speed machine to Merseyside after a loan with Dutch giants Ajax.

A whole host of European giants are also credited with a price in Antonio Conte’s young forward, with Lyone in third at 5/1 while Schalke, Lille, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund have been given prices ranging from 7/1 to 10/1.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool are way out at 14/1 and 20/1 respectively and are unlikely to make a move for the forward, despite an impressive stint in Holland.

Playing 39 times on the right flank of three-man attack under new Dortmund manager Peter Bosz, Ajax reached the Europa League final as Traore scored 13 goals and laid on six assists.

Traore has managed just 16 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea’s senior side but is now likely to leave with Willian, Eden Hazard and Pedro ahead of Traore in the pecking order.

It remains to be seen if the Premier League champions are willing to sell Traore, who has two years remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.
