Slaven Bilic would put West Ham’s dismal 2016-17 campaign in the Premier League behind them and take a big step towards the Europa League if he signs Stoke City playmaker Bojan.

The Daily Mail claims Bojan will be given another chance to shine at Stoke next season after returning to Staffordshire following his loan with Bundesliga outfit Mainz during the second half of the season.

Bojan, who was touted as the next best thing to come from Barcelona’s youth academy at the age of 17, has been kept on due to the long-term injury suffered by Holland international Ibrahim Afellay.

With three years remaining on his contract, the Spain international will now look to work his way back into Mark Hughes’ first-team plans but a move could still materialise if West Ham give him assurances over his game time.

This Is FutbolĀ analyses three reasons why Bojan could be the perfect signing in east London as the Hammers look to improve on their disappointing 12th-placed finish.
