Three reasons why Leeds should sign Snodgrass

Thomas Christiansen would endear himself to fans and create the perfect platform to secure Premier League promotion as Leeds manager by signing Robert Snodgrass.

The Mirror claims West Ham are looking to offload the 29-year-old this summer after a disappointing start to life at the London Stadium following a £10million move to east London back in January.

The versatile attacker had scored nine goals in just 24 league and cup appearances for Hull before his move to West Ham, but he failed to find the back of the net in 15 matches for the Hammers.

Now, with his value likely to have decreased and the Scotland international in search of inspiration to reinvigorate his career, a move back to Elland Road could provide that spark – but Snodgrass would have to be willing to accept a pay cut on his current contract reportedly worth £50,000 a week.

It is also reported that he doesn’t want to drop down a division, but that could change if no offers come in from the bigger clubs.

This Is Futbol has analysed three reasons why the former Norwich ace could help push the Yorkshire giants closer to promotion next season.
