Sky Sports recently revealed that West Ham are interested in signing Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud this summer.

The report claims that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking to freshen up his attacking options, which doesn’t look likely to heavily feature the France forward next season.

West Ham look  ready to act on this as manager Slavan Bilic is also keen to strengthen his club’s attacking prowess.

The 30-year-old scored 16 goals during his 14 appearances for Arsenal last season, but only started 11 Premier League matches during that time as Wenger opted to have Alexis Sanchez in a central striking position for much of the campaign.

However, if West Ham don’t seal a move for the Arsenal striker there are plenty of alternatives for the Hammers to swoop on during the transfer window.

Here are three alternative forwards that the Hammers boss should consider in place of the Arsenal man, including a rising star of the Premier League who can’t get a game despite a first-rate scoring record:
