Tottenham will not sign any new players this summer until they have resolved the futures of three senior players, according to a Sky Sports News report.

The broadcaster claim on their website that Spurs want to “move some players out” before activating plans to strengthen Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team squad.

Sky Sports report that the north Londoners want to sort out the futures of Kyle Walker, Moussa Sissoko and Kevin Wimmer before starting their summer recruitment and deciding which replacements, if any, to bring in.

It is said that right-back Walker is on the verge of joining Manchester City and that an approach from the Abu Dhabi-owned club is “imminent”.

Porto’s Ricardo Pereira is one of a number of targets being considered to replace the England international, 27, who slipped down the pecking order at White Hart Lane at the end of the domestic season.

Attacking midfielder Sissoko, 27, joined on deadline day last summer for a fee of £30million but made little impact in his first season and was criticised by Pochettino for his work-rate and attitude.

Centre-back Wimmer, 24, struggled for game time in his second campaign after showing promise in his first season following a £5million transfer from German club Koln.
