Tottenham, Everton, Manchester United and Southampton are all interested in young Bolton midfielder Max Broughton, according to the Daily Mail.

The news publication details that the Premier League quartet are all eyeing the 16-year-old who has been impressing for Bolton’s Under-18’s, while also earning recognition from England at youth level.

The young teenager impressed at the now Championship side during a trial period at the club in October 2014 after being spotted playing for local side Rossendale United.

He went on to sign scholarship forms with the club in December 2015 and it would now seem that Bolton have unearthed a gem given the interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

Both Tottenham and Everton have put huge importance on promoting young players into their first team in recent years with Spurs unearthing such talents as Harry Kane and Dele Alli, while the Toffees have given Premier League opportunities to both Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman more recently.

Broughton could now be the next talent to make the step up to either side and while it is unlikely he will make an immediate impact given he has not yet made his debut for Bolton he could prove to be a very smart piece of business in the future.
