Three PL attackers Tottenham could sign after King revelation

Mauricio Pochettino must weigh up a number of other attacking options in the Premier League this summer after Josh King ruled out a potential move to Tottenham.

The Mirror claimed last month that Spurs were interested in signing the Norway international, with a fee of £15million said to be enough to take the Bournemouth forward to north London.

However, when asked about his future and a potential move to Tottenham, King told the Daily Echo that he hopes to remain at Bournemouth next year due to his admiration for Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe.

“I was intrigued even being mentioned in the same sentence as Spurs, a big team who play in the Champions League,” King said.

“You never know in football but, hopefully, I will be here next year and I’m looking forward to working with the gaffer because he’s been brilliant with me since the day I set foot on the training ground.”

The former Manchester United attacker had caught the eye of Argentinian boss Pochettino, after scoring 16 Premier League goals for the Cherries in 36 league outings as part of a front three.
