Lloris always targets Son for nutmegs

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed that he “always” targets Son Heung-min when trying to nutmeg one of his Tottenham teammates in training.

The Spurs first team were involved in a quickfire question feature, where they gave the name of one of their teammates to a question asked.

One of those questions was ‘who gets nutmegged the most,’ and while defensive player Eric Dier was the clear winner for the question, goalkeeper star Lloris told how he specifically targets Son to humiliate.

“Sonny is my target, always, always,” told Lloris simply, as shown in a video on Dugout.

Son would appear to be a favoured member among his teammates in the Tottenham squad after completing a £22million move from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015.

On the pitch he had a difficult debut campaign in north London, returning just eight goals and five assists in 40 matches in all competitions and he was even linked with a move away last summer.

However, he was much improved last season and he managed a return of 21 goals and 10 assists in 47 matches in all competitions for the Premier League runners-up.

The left-winger is still contracted to the club until 2020 and he will be keen to continue improving with the ever-progressive north London squad, while also watching out for Lloris in training.
