Speculation has been intense in recent weeks that Kyle Walker will end his lengthy association with Tottenham this summer but the club and their players past and present remain close to his heart.

The England international moved to White Hart Lane from boyhood club Sheffield United in 2009 and has developed into one of the integral players in a side that has been transformed under Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs finished second in the recent Premier League season and Walker, 27, was named by his peers in the PFA team of the season.

But that has not dampened rumours he will quit White Hart Lane following eight years in which he has played with some of the world’s elite players.

In an interview with the Premier League website, Walker was asked to pick his dream five-a-side team from his time in the top flight, which has extended to 198 matches in the competition.

The side, which is made up solely of Spurs players past and present, includes some notable omissions as well as some giants of the modern game.
