Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly leaving Manchester United – and there has been a mixed response from supporters on Twitter.
Reports in The Telegraph and on Sky Sports News have claimed that Ibrahimovic, 35, looks set to leave Old Trafford this month after it emerged that his name won’t feature on the club’s retained list which is due to be released on Friday morning.
The giant striker joined United on a year-long contract last summer, and while some fans appear sad to see the Swede make an exit, others don’t seem too antagonised by the prospect of him leaving.
While fans speculate the future of their striker, injured Ibrahimovic continues to recover after surgery on his cruciate ligament in America and could still make a return to the club’s Carrington training ground to begin his rehabilitation before his contract ends on 30 June.

Ibrahimovic's incredible year at Man Utd has gone without the ideal recognition, it will be massively remembered in a few years time. #MUFC

The 35-year-old goal machine produced the goods during his time at Old Trafford by netting a staggering 28 goals in 46 appearances for the club.
Ibrahimovic saw his season end abruptly back in April after he picked up a nasty knee injury during the Europa League quarter final against Anderlecht and resulted in the Swedish international missing out on 10 games for the club.
Mourinho is currently searching for Zlatan’s replacement according to the report, as the forward looks to be sidelined for the rest of 2017.
