Manchester United fans have expressed mixed feelings on Twitter about Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic potentially moving to Old Trafford.
A report in The Sun revealed that the 28-year-old would complete the £40 million deal and take part in a medical with the club within the next 48 hours.
The deal would see the Serbian pocket a £155,000-a-week wage with the Red Devils.
Not all United fans are convinced though, with some supporters thinking that Matic would perform well under Jose Mourinho, while another called the deal “daylight robbery”.
This is Futbol has gathered the best Twitter reactions:
Some people forget how good matic really is. Last year he had Kante beside him… woth matic Kante wouldn't have had the freedom he had

Daylight robbery that's what Chelsea will do to United. Selling Matic to us is a robbery. Jose has to watch his head.

People are actually attacking JM for his interest in Matic. Hate to break it to you but the last time JM won the PL, Matic was his CM.

Conte replaced Matic with Kante and that's why he struggled. I am sure he will be back to his best under Jose

The Serbia international looks set to be reunited with Mourinho, after he was initially signed to Chelsea under his leadership in January 2014 for just over £21 million, and won the Premier League with the club the following year.
Matic also provided a key contribution to Chelsea’s most recent title win after he made a total of 35 appearances within the competition and also provided a single goal in addition to eight assists.
Mourinho now wants to see the defensive midfielder make the move to Old Trafford to bolster his squad ahead of the club’s 2017/18 Premier League campaign after the Red Devils finished in a disappointing sixth place last season.
