Liverpool could snap up Brazilian winger Lucas Moura on the cheap with PSG ready to let him go for £26million (€30million), according to Le Parisien.

The French newspaper claim on their website that the French giants are ready to cut their losses on the 24-year-old, having secured him for £35million (€40million) back in 2013 from Brazilian side Sao Paulo.

Manchester United have shown previous interest in the pacey Brazilian, with Sports Witness reporting that the Reds made contact with PSG over a potential move for him last month.

The 35-time-capped international, who also has four goals for his country, demonstrated an impressive goal scoring record last season, hitting the back of the net on 19 occasions and contributing 11 assists in his 53 appearances across all competitions.

United may face competition for his signature from the Premier League, with fierce rivals Liverpool named by Le Parisien as potential suitors, as well as European giants Inter Milan.

Lucas has proven to be a valuable asset during his time in the French capital, making 223 appearances across all competitions, having scored 45 goals and notched up 47 assists.

If he were to join United, he would have to fight it out with Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Spaniard Juan Mata, England man Jesse Lingard and French youngster Anthony Martial for a place on the flanks in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI.
