Manchester United are set to hire former Juventus chief scout Javier Ribalta, according to a Sky Sports journalist.
The Serie A champions announced on their official website and on their official Twitter account on Friday morning that Rabalta would be leaving the club after spending five years in Turin.

Sky Sports Italy correspondent Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on his personal website that Ribalta is heading to Old Trafford to help with the scouting and recruitment of new players.
Ribalta was instrumental in helping Juventus sign players such as Dani Alves, Sami Khedira and Paul Pogba on free transfers.
This could potentially be good news for United fans on the transfer front as Ribalta was also key in recruiting Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata at the start of the 2014-15 season.
The 24-year-old striker enjoyed a wonderful two-year spell at Turin, picking up two league titles and two Italian Cup trophies.
Di Marzio also reported that manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing the Spanish striker this summer and Ribalta’s arrival could potentially speed up negotiations between the two giant clubs.
United are reportedly looking to add fresh faces to the squad next season and they have already signed defender Victor Lindelof from Portuguese giants Benfica this summer.
