Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Besiktas attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca, according to Turkish newspaper AMK.

The newspaper, citing Portuguese outlet O Jogo, reports that the 23-year-old confirmed the interest from United manager Jose Mourinho in a recent interview with the Brazilian media.

The midfielder expressed his desire to join the Premier League side claiming that it would be a “dream”.

The report claims that the Turkish side are trying to persuade the Brazilian to stay at the club as they are set to lose a number of key players this summer.

The Manchester giants have already been busy in the transfer market as Swedish defender Victor Lindelof became the club’s first summer signing.

It appears that Mourinho is planning to bring in new faces to the squad next season as Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo recently reported that United had placed a massive offer to sign Benfica defender Nelson Semedo.

Besiktas sent Talisca out on loan to Benfica last season and the Brazilian enjoyed a superb campaign in Portugal, making a total of 33 appearances and scoring 17 goals.

The Brazilian’s contribution helped the Portuguese side to secure a fourth successive league title.

Talisca is set for another loan spell with Benfica next season but it appears that United have decided to make a move for the midfielder.

The midfielder’s contract with Besiktas expires at the end of next season.
