Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are set to reignite their interest in Juventus ace Paulo Dybala, according to a Mundo Deportivo report.

The Spanish media outlet claim both clubs are preparing to make an offer for the 23-year-old forward as they look to bolster their attacking options this summer.

It is said United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on Dybala, after it has emerged he will not be signing Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann in the coming months.

The report also states that the Portuguese boss sees the Argentine as a natural successor for Wayne Rooney, who looks set to leave the club this summer after being used as a bit-part player last term.

Meanwhile, Chelsea could see him as an ideal temporary replacement for Eden Hazard who may miss the start of the 2017/18 campaign after fracturing his ankle while on international duty.

However, Dybala only recently signed a contract extension with the Italian giants, which ties him to the club until 2022.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a fine season with Juventus, he scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 31 league games, as his side cantered to the Serie A title.

Dybala, who is able to play as a second-striker, on the right-wing or as an out-and-out striker, also shone in his side’s 2017/17 Champions League campaign, netting four goals in 11 appearances.

The six-time Argentina international joined the Turin giants in the summer of 2015 in a £34million switch from Palermo and he has since played 94 league and cup games, scoring 42 goals.
