Losing loanees Alfonso Pedraza and Modou Barrow, Leeds have confirmed the permanent signing of Hadi Sacko but width is still needed with concerns growing over the performances of Souleymane Doukara and Stuart Dallas.
Bringing six-time England Under-20 international Barker to Yorkshire then would fill a void, and he would instantly be installed as Leeds’ first-choice winger.
Renowned as one of the best up-and-coming talents in City’s youth system, Barker joined NAC Breda on loan for the 2016-17 campaign and with that first-team experience he would help push Leeds towards Premier League promotion.
